Hank Thomas is an active real estate developer and served in 2002-2004 as President of the Grand Strand Board of REALTORS. In 2004, the board designated him "Realtor of the Year". Hank is member of the National Association of REALTORS and also served as Vice President of the South Carolina Association of REALTORS Region 2 from 2004 to 2006. He is a Rotarian and is a member of the North Myrtle Beach City Council. As a city council member, he is spearheading efforts to dredge the Cherry Grove Channels. “The dredging of the Cherry Grove channels is a top priority for our community. The economic benefits of this effort are in the millions in addition to the public benefit of enhance recreational opportunities.” His experience in negotiating and dealing with federal, state, and local government agencies has been instrumental to his success in residential, condominium, and golf course development for the past 25 years.
